UNIMED Alumni Association Celebrates Professor Ebunoluwa Aderonke Adejuyigbe’s Historic Assumption as Vice-Chancellor
The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) Alumni Association joyously celebrates the historic appointment/assumption of Professor Ebunoluwa Aderonke Adejuyigbe as the third substantive Vice-Chancellor of UNIMED, Ondo, and the institution’s first female Vice-Chancellor, effective July 23, 2025. This landmark achievement marks a proud moment for the UNIMED community and Nigeria’s academic landscape.
Professor Adejuyigbe, a distinguished Professor of Paediatrics and a trailblazer in medical education and research, assumes this role with an impeccable record of service. Her remarkable career, including her tenure as Executive Director of the Central Office of Research at Obafemi Awolowo University and Consultant Paediatrician at OAU Teaching Hospital, reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence. Her leadership brings a wealth of expertise and inspiration to UNIMED, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our community.
