Adesida Adedayo Alumni President

Adedayo Oluwadamilola Adesida is a multifaceted scholar with an M.Sc. in Molecular Parasitology from the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria, specializing in molecular biology and bioinformatics, particularly in parasitic transmission dynamics and molecular markers for resistance. He serves as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Medical Sciences Ondo, guiding students in animal handling and research. Adesida is actively engaged in leadership roles, having held positions in various organizations and demonstrating a commitment to both academic and professional development. Additionally, he’s a Data scientist and a Graphic designer.

Adebanke Ajagunna Vice President

Adebanke is a budding Microbiology lecturer at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, where she seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry through innovative research while utilizing molecular techniques to drive sustainable solutions.

When not in the lab, Adebanke enjoys cooking, baking, writing, and savoring nature.

While she thrives in challenging situations, she believes that the world would be a better place if everyone simply focuses on what is right and keep being kind.

Kayode Bright General Secretary

Kayode Olakunle Bright is an operational expert and leader in the Fresh Food department of a retail organization, overseeing the Bakery, Kitchen, Fresh Produce (Fruits & Vegetables), Butchery, Confectionery, and Frozen/Perishables and with a strong passion for food quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring top-notch products and service. Additionally, he is an aspiring front-end developer, enhancing his technical skills through various courses and self-development. He is dedicated to leadership and personal growth, having taken on several leadership roles in the past. He is committed to excellence and community, making him a reliable and innovative professional in both the food (hospitality) and tech industries.

Omoloja Oyinkansola Assistant General Secretary

Oyinkansola is a medical doctor, graduated in 2023 University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, currently working as in intern doctor at the University’s teaching hospital.

She is a people person at heart, who thrives in environments where she can connect, share ideas and collaborate with others. She is public health enthusiast with a growing interest in project management who is on a journey to building a more equitable society.

Temiloluwa Ogunleye Olatunji Financial Secretary

Temiloluwa is a multifaceted professional with expertise spanning dentistry, writing, and web design. As a dentist, she combines precision and care in her practice, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her passion for writing has led her to contribute insightful articles to several medical publications, both in Nigeria and the United States, where she shares her knowledge on healthcare advancements and trends.

Beyond her medical expertise, Temiloluwa is also an accomplished web designer. She has built a reputation for designing high-quality websites for companies, individuals, and corporations across Nigeria and the U.S., seamlessly blending aesthetic appeal with functional design. Her work reflects a deep understanding of her clients’ needs, delivering tailored solutions that enhance online presence and user experience.

Through her diverse skills and contributions across industries, Temiloluwa continues to impact the medical and digital spaces, making her a standout professional in both fields.

Kolawole Bridget Olayinka is a medical doctor who got her degree from the esteemed University of Medical Sciences Ondo State.
She is well rounded not just in the medical field but also a successful entrepreneur.
She is good with human interactions and is great at handling complex situations.

Alumni Relations Team

Dr Lawal Oyeneyin Alumni Director

Dr. Lawal Oyeneyin is an Associate Professor and Director, Office of Advancement & Strategic Partnership Initiatives of UNIMED as well as former Head of Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G). He is also a Chief Consultant at the affiliate Teaching Hospital as well as an Examiner and Dissertation Reviewer of the Faculty of O&G of the two postgraduate medical colleges. Since 2015, he has been a pioneer member of the Ondo State Health Research Ethics Committee.

His career as a medical consultant started at the Lagos-based Lagoon Hospitals from 2004 to 2009. In February 2010, he was appointed the pioneer Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Mother and Child Hospital Akure, a flagship facility offering free specialist level care to pregnant women and children.

Dr. Oyeneyin’s areas of interest are feto-maternal medicine, hospital management and health policy formulation. He has over 50 scientific papers published and/or presented at various national and international forums. He is also an article reviewer for various journals including PLOS One and BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth. His hobbies include reading biographies, travelling and watching movies. He is an indigene of Ondo, happily married and blessed with three children.

Awude Oluwafeyikemi Alumni Officer

Awude Oluwafeyikemi serves as the Alumni Officer at the university of medical sciences Ondo where she is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged alumni community. Feyikemi plays a pivotal role in enhancing connections between the university and its graduates.

Feyikemi holds a Higher National Diploma in computer science at the Polytechnic of Ibadan, and currently pursuing a degree in Mass communication at Wesley University ondo.

In her role, Feyikemi serves as a liaison between the management of the university and the Alumni body. Also responsible for providing support for various alumni programs and initiatives that promote networking, professional development, and philanthropic support and manage communications, and works closely with alumni to ensure their voices are heard within the university community.

 Feyikemi is passionate about building lasting relationships and believes that a strong alumni network enhances the overall experience of current students. She regularly meets with alumni to gather feedback and ideas for new initiatives, ensuring that their perspectives shape the university’s future.
